IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION WHEN BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT

MovewithEze does all it can to minimise the risk of Coronavirus (Covid-19) cross infection, following government’s and UK trade bodies’ guidelines to provide the safest possible ‘infection control/prevention’ environment.

Please read the information on this page, as it is important to keep you and everyone at the clinic safe.

Ahead of your appointment

Before you make an appointment, it is important that you read the questions below. These questions will be asked again on the phone the day before your appointment, and your practitioner is required to ask these questions once more on the day of your appointment, as your situation might have changed. Please bear with us - this is to keeping you and everyone else at the clinic safe.

Please read and answer the following questions before making your booking

  • Do you or anyone in your household have symptoms of COVID-19 (new cough, fever or loss of smell/taste) now or in the last 7 days?

  • Have you or anyone in your household been in contact with someone with confirmed/suspected COVID-19 in the last 14 days?

  • Are you, or anyone with whom you are in regular contact, considered to be in a high-risk group if you contract the virus? (clinically extremely vulnerable or clinically vulnerable – see more info here)

  • Are you, or anyone in your household, at high risk of transmitting the virus by nature of your occupation i.e. a nurse, doctor, care worker?

  • Do you have respiratory symptoms or conditions such as asthma or hay fever?

For more information on the symptoms of COVID-19 please see the NHS website here.

Clients and our practitioners will not be allowed face to face appointments if:

  • They have confirmed OR suspected COVID-19 or

  • They have or have had in the last 7 days symptoms of cold or flu like symptoms.

  • They live with or have been in contact with confirmed OR suspected COVID-19 afflicted people or have symptoms of the illness

  • They are considered high-risk and extremely vulnerable or have a letter to say they must shield

All appointment bookings will be made either online, via email or via telephone, and all new clients will require £20 deposit payment in advance.

You will not be charged for any appointment which you miss due to illness or if you have been turned away by clinic staff. Deposits/booking fees can be used for another appointment but we regret they cannot be refunded.

After you have made your booking & attendance;

Once you have made your booking, you will also receive an email asking you to fill in an online medical history, a Covid-19 screening form and a link of what to expect prior to your appointment.

Screening Call

24 hours before your appointment, you will get a email reminder and we will give you a call to run through the screening questions again to ensure you’ve not developed any symptoms associated with COVID-19 since booking your appointment.

This may be that a remote video/telephone consultation is advised if the benefit of attendance is outweighed by the risk, and if you do not feel comfortable to come to the practice.

If at this point neither a face-to-face or telephone appointment is suitable, you will be offered to re-book your appointment at a future date (and follow the same screening process again).
